Blossom is a very special young girl who came into our care when her owner could no longer afford to look after their animals. She was in a poor way, sneezey with a sore eye. After a few weeks of being with us she is back to health but due to the mycoplasma that lives in rat respiratory systems it is likely she will always be sneezey so we are looking for a home for her where she can live with sneezey rats.
We estimate Blossom to be around 6 to 7 months old. She is lonely and desperately needs rattie friends. She is a distinctive looking girl who has been intentionally bred to be partially hairless. She is a very sweet and friendly girl who loves coming to the bars to chat. She is still wary of being picked up but once out she loves climbing up your arm and sitting on your shoulder. When exploring further afield she will always come over to see you every few minutes for a bit of reassurance.
Blossom has a really good appetite for everything she is offered and is fed a diet of complete food by Science Selective and fresh fruit and veg. If you can offer her a home with some ratty friends please get in touch. (If you live locally we can lend you a cage whilst you make introductions. Min sized cage recommended for 2 rats is 70cm x 48cm x 78cm.
