Cirrus is a young boar who came into our care after being rescued from a home of over 80 guinea pigs. He was a shy boy who was being bullied by the other pigs he was housed with so this didn’t help his confidence at all. He was moved into a foster home where he could live alongside pigs and receive TLC from his foster carer. He has since been castrated and is now ready to find a forever home with female pals/pal. This is what his foster carer has to say about him:

“This young man is slowly finding his piggy paws with us. Cirrus is still a little nervous but when he thinks no one’s watching we’ve seen popcorns and zoomies a plenty! He’s a bit fast and slippery to get hold of initially, but once you hold him safely against you he soon settles down for tickles and strokes. As with pretty much every piggy we’ve ever known, Cirrus has amazing lungs for wheeking at a salad bag rustling 10 miles away! He especially likes celery, romaine, gem lettuce and baby leaf salad. We think Cirrus would love a lady piggy to snuggle up with, he might not be everyone’s cup of tea looks wise but we think he’s a sweetheart and is piggy through and through.”

Cirrus is suitable to live with one or more females. He is currently housed indoors so in this cold weather he would not adapt to living outside unless it was a heated shed/garage. If you can offer Cirrus a well deserved home then please get in touch.
