Fern is a friendly confident rabbit who will make an ideal addition to any home and can be introduced now to a neutered male rabbit. Fern is a pure breed Netherland Dwarf approx 10 weeks old. When we helped a home with over 80 rabbits we ran out of space at our centre so Fern and her siblings went into foster care. They had to be separated from their mum because she was so malnourished (as a result of feeding babies and not being fed enough). The babies were fully weaned at the time so they were absolutely fine. Watching their paws hit the grass in their run for the first time was an absolute highlight. Seeing them go from a cramped, dirty hutch into bunny paradise was such an uplifting moment. All the litter have since gone on to thrive and enjoy human companionship.
Fern is a lovely littel girl who always comes running to greet her foster mum, enjoys being stroked and playing in the run with her siblings. She would make an ideal partner for a lonely heart!
Fern has so far received the combi vaccine and will have the VHD2 vaccine on 23rd Aug. Before she leaves our care she will be microchipped and once old enough the branch will contribute £100 towards the cost of neutering her. Fern is suitable to live indoors or out, the latter must be with a companion.
