This bunny girl has been aptly named Liberty after she was reported to have been straying for 3 weeks! It is hard to imagine she was out all that time without coming to harm. Perhaps says a lot about how clever she is! Liberty was said to be straying with another rabbit but alas her companion could not be found/caught. We thought she would be a feral beast when we heard about her story but Liberty is a little sweetheart.
Weighing in at under 2kgs this little lady is so personable and settled in so quickly to the centre that we got the full measure of her personality from day one. Liberty is a really lovely bunny who is calm and gentle and always comes running to greet us and is happy to sit for a stroke. We really aren’t sure of her age but she seems no more than 1 to 2 years old. We think her placid nature will see her easily pair with a neutered male. She is ever so good at being handled on health check days and is clearly used to human contact.
How she ended up straying for so long is an absloute mystery but she is now neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. She can live indoors or out, assuming you have a secure garden/enclosure. Liberty will be fine to live with children and other pets so long as they are supervised around her. If you have a lonely male looking for company then please get in touch by calling 0161 737 6600.
