Lorenzo was found alone outdoors by a member of the public. We think he was part of a community cat colony and had got separated from his family. At 10 weeks of age we felt we had a shot at being able to socialise and domesticate him. Lorenzo spent the first week very frightened and hissy, we then gradually introduced play with him and that enabled him to build his confidence up in humans. From there on in it was a rapid transformation and he was soon choosing to sit on our laps and enjoy a cuddle. Lorenzo is unrecognisable to the kitten that arrived three weeks ago. Our team of volunteer socialisers have brought him round in no time and we now have a happy little boy who enjoys being shown love and affection. Lorenzo is litter trained, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is looking for a quiet a home where there are no children under 10. Lorenzo needs adopters who will take things slowly with him, give him the time and space to settle in and continue the confidence building and habituation work we’ve done. Lorenzo may be able to live with another cat so long as they are not overly boisterous and are used to co-habiting with other cats.
