Portia came into our care because she was abandoned outside her home with her two kittens. It beggars belief but they were just put outside to fend for themselves. The kittens have since found homes and it is now Portia’s turn to find a loving forever home.

We estimate Portia to be around  2 to 3 years old. When she arrived she was subdued and her coat was all tacky. She had mild flu symptoms that lingered for a while but with lots of tlc and a consistent diet her coat gradually restored and she blossomed into a playful, loving cat. She is now is tip top health and we cannot wait for her to find a new home.

When we asked our cat socialisers what they think of Portia they described her warmly as a really nice cat who loves a fuss. She now also seeks out a lap to sit on and have a cuddle, so she is a perfect antidote to these chilly winter nights!  Portia has favourite toys to play with and enjoys interacting with us with play too. She smacks her lips oddly whilst eating, so she is quite a noisy eater and especially loves Felix Good as it looks fish flavoured food.

As Portia can take a while to warm up to new surroundings and people so we think she will be best to live with an adult only home that is peaceful and consistent. Portia has now been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and is ready to find her forever home. Please call us on 0161 7376600 if she sounds the perfect match for you.
