Rita was born around 31st Dec 2018. She is one of a litter of 5 who have come from a home over run with rabbits. They had to be separated from mum early to enable them to thrive because mum did not have sufficient reserves to nourish them. We also had to split the litter into two groups to reduce food competition and help the smallest to catch up.
Rita is wonderful little lady who has absolutely thrived since being in a smaller group. She is a gentle girl who loves human contact and always comes bounding up to see us. Her mum was medium-sized, under 2kgs, so she will not grow to be huge. Rita will be perfect to pair with a neutered male bunny and will blossom as a house rabbit. She is used to living in a sheltered barn so if you have similar (I.e. not a hutch and run) this would be fine too so long as you spent plenty of time with her. Rita will be microchipped and fully vaccinated prior to adoption (combi and RHD2). Once old enough the branch will contribute £100 to the cost of her neutering or cover the full cost if done at the branch’s designated vets. She is ready to be viewed now so please get in touch if you can offer her a home. Please call 0161 882 0680 option 4 to meet her!
